“UR COOL” Candy Hearts Messages for Your HVAC System!

February 2, 2021

We made some very special HVAC-themed candy hearts, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Take a look!

So, how often do you really need to change your filter? Most likely every three months, right? So, you think. The truth is, if you have pets, you might need to do it every two months. And, you should always be checking on your air filter because it could be more clogged than you expect! After all, if you always forget to change your air filter, dust and allergens will thrive. Is the person with allergies in your house sneezing more than usual? Go check your filter.

Here’s a fun fact about the first ever air conditioner: It wasn’t designed to keep you cool. Actually, Willis Carrier invented it in 1902 for the publishing company he worked at, where the air was way too humid and the paper was warping!

Even though in Phoenix, humidity usually isn’t a problem, keep in mind that as late spring rolls around and it gets more humid, it’s very important that your HVAC system is working efficiently. Your air conditioner has the dual purpose of cooling your home down and regulating humidity. If your home’s air starts to feel moist or your windows fog up, it could be a problem with your A/C and you need to reach out to us!

Every technician that comes out to service your home should be NATE-certified. If you’re wondering, “Who’s Nate?” NATE is an acronym that stands for North American Technician Excellence. This organization puts technicians through a nationally-recognized test, with both hands-on and written elements. Also, keeping your NATE certification requires continued education. We use NATE-certified technicians here at Parker and Sons because we know you deserve nothing less than the best!

It’s true, love is in the air this February, but unfortunately there are some less savory things in the air as well:

  • pollen
  • dust mites
  • microscopic insect parts
  • smoke
  • pet allergens
  • dust
  • and of course, bacteria and viruses!

The Captura UV air purifier was developed with the help of Westinghouse Electric Research Labs. Not only does the Captura purify your air of all of these things, but it kills 70 to 85% of germs on first impact, then kills up to 99% on subsequent impacts! UV light purification simply works. So now you really can say, “Love is in the air!”

Our final HVAC-themed candy heart is just a message to you (yes, just you personally, Valentine!) letting you know that you can call us anytime. You can trust our technicians, our expertise, and our almost 50 years of history when making a decision about HVAC service in the Phoenix area.
