What to Do in Phoenix During Spring - Parker & Sons

Spring has officially sprung. That means that temperatures are already on the rise. While it isn’t too sweltering yet, it will be soon. In the meantime, we get to enjoy some of the finest weather conditions in the nation. Here at Parker & Sons, springs means a lot of hard work, as we begin preparing Phoenix residents for the brutality of summer with air condition tune-ups, repairs and installations. However, for most individuals, Spring means time to head outside and have some fun! Parker & Sons is here today to offer you some great ideas for enjoying spring in Phoenix.

Go Hiking

There is no better time of the year to go hiking. Soon, it will be much too hot to spend time outside. For now, temperatures are pleasant, the sun is shining, and there is almost always a pleasant breeze. The Phoenix area is home to a few very iconic hikes. In the middle of the city sits picturesque Camelback Mountain with its very famous Echo Canyon Trail. Further east, rising high above the valley floor, lay the Superstition Mountains, home to the incredible Flat Iron.

Enjoy America’s Favorite Pastime

Here in Phoenix, we are lucky to be the spring training home of 15 Major League Baseball teams. The Cactus League has been delighting baseball fans in Arizona since 1947. With ten stadiums spread out all across the Valley of the Sun, catching a quality baseball game is simple and convenient. And really, is there a better way to spend an afternoon than soaking up some sun with friends and family, enjoying a ballpark hotdog and maybe even an ice-cold beer? Sounds just about ideal to us.

However, don’t get too distracted by all the fun this spring. Make sure you set aside some time to schedule an AC tune up with Parker & Son. After all, you don’t want to be left sweating out the summer with a broken AC unit.
