After all this working getting your home in great condition, the last thing you want is to have it burn down. Well, you never want your home to burn down, but you really don’t want it to happen now. One great way to keep that from happen, is cleaning your dryer vents. Dryer lint is phenomenally flammable. All it takes to start an inferno is a single spark. Dryers also draw a lot of power. It can make for a dangerous situation. Clean the lint trap in your dryer as well as the dryer vents themselves. If the ducts have become clogged with dryer lint, you may need to call in professional help.
Again, we are going to talk about a home maintenance problem that is closely link to hard water. Hard water can cause calcium and mineral buildup in your shower. While it may not look too dirty early on, things can get out of control fast. If you put off give the shower a good scrub, the job is just going to get harder and harder. Use a powerful cleaning agent and give the shower a vigorous scrub 4-6 times a year.
