Plumbers are always in demand. This is great for a couple of reasons. First, it means that plumbers have awesome job security. Plumbing is not an industry that is going away anytime soon (or ever) which means they can rest easy knowing they will always have a job. Second, it just feels good to be needed. As a plumber, your services are essential, so people are always happy to see you.
Studies have shown that staying busy and active helps you stay happy as well. As a plumber, you are always out and about. Always getting things done. You are working with your hands feeling a sense of accomplishment. Best of all, you are always meeting and interacting with people. Social interaction also helps people feel a sense of happiness and wellbeing. It almost seems like everyone should be a plumber!
What kind of person are you? Are you a self-starter who likes to take ownership of a job? Or do you like to work with other people? As a plumber, you have incredible flexibility. You can open your own plumbing company and be your own boss, or you can just work for a large established company where you may have more support and stability. The choice is yours!
