Who doesn’t want a cool job? One of those jobs everyone else is jealous of. One of those jobs you are proud to brag about at cocktail party, PTI meeting, or while socializing at your kid’s soccer game. You could tell the other parents you are a retired semi-pro baseball player, or an ex-marine, or even something wildly imaginative like a shipping floor general manager, but you wouldn’t want to lie, would you?
Why not seek out a career that is just naturally cool. Go ahead and join the club. Become an electrician. Exactly why are electricians so cool? We will let you know.
There is nothing cooler than someone who is incredibly skilled and proficient at what they do. There is just something impressive about an individual who has everything figured out, who is the master of a craft. And that is what you must be to be an electrician. It is a complex job with inherent danger, so not anyone can do it. Just the best of the best.
In the modern era, electricians are essential. We depend on electricity for almost everything we do. Most of us can’t go more than 5 minutes without using an electronic device. And even 5 minutes causes anxiety. This means we depend on electricians. Not just to keep the lights on, but to maintain our very way of life!
If nothing else, electricians make sparks fly. They can’t help it. It is just their natural charm, and something to do with their natural affinity with electricity.
