Why is Solar so popular right now?

An Article from an interview with Bret Scott the Solar Director for Parker and Sons- The Number one ranked plumbing contractor in Ranking Arizona, and To Fix It.

TFI: So why all of the excitement in the media about Solar Water Heating?

Scott: There is a huge need to find alternative energy sources, Solar energy is one of the cleanest- and we live in the state that ranks #1 for sunshine.

TFI: Why now?

Scott: The Local utility Companies are now mandated to have a certain percentage of their supplied power to be in renewable resources within a few years- so they are rebating big bucks back to the customers that are installing solar.

TFI: How much money are we talking here?

Scott: Today, there are four rebates-a tax credit on your State return, a Federal tax credit, The Utility rebate, and until the funds run out, an Energy Star rebate. These rebates vary depending on which system but all add up to thousands of dollars.

TFI: How much does a Solar Water Heater cost?

Scott:
That amount can vary depending on which manufacturer you prefer, and at Parker and Sons we carry multiple lines which represent the industries best. Your installation cost can also vary, however the rebates pay for the majority of the system.

TFI:
Can any home have Solar even if it wasn’t constructed that way initially?

Scott: Nearly any home can be converted to Solar- Also many of the esthetics have changed from ‘old fashioned solar” - many times you cannot even see it.

TFI:
What should someone do to find out more?

Scott:
Just call us- we will come out for free, Give you a competitive no pressure estimate. If you decide to move forward, we will help handle all city and utility paperwork and install your system using our Number one Ranked Employees at 602-2-REPAIR.
